Baltimore-Annapolis Kendo

Visitors are welcome to observe a class at any time. For more information on what to expect, please email bakendoinfo@gmail.com. We practice in Boone Station Hall (formely the Holy Grounds Youth Center), a historic church [circa 1924] adjacent to the main building at the Severna Park Community Center. Parking is available for free at the Community Center.

 Beginner courses begin 3 times per year, typically at the beginning of January, June, and September. 

Practice is open to persons 12 years and older (for kendo) or 16 years and older (for iaido). Beginners receive a course of individual/small-group instruction for approximately one month before joining the main class. For more information, see Getting Started

Anyone with previous kendo or iaido experience is welcome to join us for practice as a guest at any time. If possible, please email bakendoinfo@gmail.com to let us know you're coming.
